Entertaining and Informative Tour of Tel Aviv We took the Tel Aviv Urban food tour with Menno on November 23 and had a great time. As a guide Menno is informative and entertaining. The walking tour covered a large swath Tel Aviv and blended the history of Tel Aviv and Israel with cultural and architectural highlights. There were frequent stops for refreshments and the tour culminated with a stop at the eclectic Carmel Market for a tasting of local cuisine.
The tour was fun and engaging and most importantly very informative of all things Tel Aviv. We also appreciated several little known sights and recommendations for future touring opportunities.
Our group had a blast and highly recommended for a first or fiftieth visit to Tel Aviv.

Menno is an experienced guide with a lot of knowledge Menno has shown us the entire ancient city of Jerusalem, from the Mount of Olives and Gethsemane to the city and the tomb of David, the tomb church and all Catholic pomp. While walking, he tells about the history of the Jewish people in a clear timeline, but also about current events. A 'must do' Tour, shedding historical insight and into the current Israel/Hamas conflict. Amit Musaei our Otef envelope Group Tour Guide was so knowledgeable about Israel's history, from the earliest times to present day. He was able to show how the present Gaza conflict fits into this history in a very easy to understand way. He provided us with historical maps and documents to further inform his talks.He took us to many sites linked to the Hamas terrorist attacks of Oct 7th, where the evidence of the atrocities are still visible.
He spoke throughout with superb insight, latterly sharing his own traumatic Nova Survivor story.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Amit's Otef border Tour. It was a privilege to have him as our Guide.

Gaza envelope tour This was a gaza envelope tour w. The guide was a survivor of the Nova festival. He provided a well balanced informative presentation of some of the causes of the conflict and hypothesised on the reasons that palestinians may be attracted to Hamas and terrorism. He provided an account of the history of Szerot and other towns and kibbutz in the area.Attending Szerot tower and Police station memorial was moving. The memorial is respectful and promotes peace.
Nova was also moving particularly as the guide provided his personal account. There were photos of victims and information boards. People wanted to enjoy life and were innocent victims of terror.
We visited a charity run hospitality base where soldiers could get a hot meal and a shower and supplies. It was really interesting getting the soldiers perspectives and supporting the charity to keep offering a respite to young soldiers who are risking their lives fighting terrorism.

I am 68 and walk not too good, so it was an enterprise. I contacted a guide, Menno de Vries and he was just wonderful, he gave a great tour to Jerusalem, having a lot of knowledge of the history and he also arranged for me to get baptized. He filmed the baptism and later he carried my bag as usual. He also helped me to find and book a great hotel at the Via Dolorosa. I could totally rely on him for everything, good restaurants, changing money etc. but you can also learn about politics today, he is very nice to talk to. The Extraordinary Amit Musaei Tour We went to the Gaza envelope with our guide, the courageous Amit, who let us walk in his foot steps as he shared his experience of surviving October 7th while attending the Nova Festival. He has a beautiful way of telling his story, he never lets you sink too low but gives space for the tough moments and big emotions. He weaves in his charm and humour that kept the day moving forward in a really special way. I can not recommend Amit Musaei and his tour more for those wanting to learn more about October 7th and the history of what brought us there and to where we are now. It start from the very beginning with the way he approaches you and explains things. He knows your name, where you are from, he is personable le, he is knowledgeable, he is funny and he is also serious when talking about his own experience as a survivor of the Nova festival. Highly recommend Israel Insider Tours Aryeh Leifert was an amazing tour guide (Israel Insider Tours). We had him for 7-8 days in June 2025, and Aryeh did the driving. The tours were fascinating from both a historical and religious perspective. He was outgoing and funny and always kept our attention. Our boys, 14 and 12, were particularly drawn to Aryeh, due to his excellent sense of humor and his great impersonations. When the 12 day war somewhat interrupted our plans, he found alternative things for us to do and learn about. This was my third time in Israel (first time for the children) and yet I learned something new every few minutes. I cannot recommend Aryeh highly enough. Amit is the Best! Amit is not only a wonderful tour guide but an amazing human being. His tour of the south and affected areas of October 7 started with a timely pickup on a Mercedes bus with A/C. I went solo and there were 7 other people on the tour. We drove south and listened to a lot of history that Amit told clearly and knowledgeably on the way. We visited Sderot first, with a few stops to tell the history of the city and what happened there on 10/7. We then continued to the Nova site. We heard his personal testimony. We visited the site with all the damaged cars from that dark Saturday. Then we stopped at Shuva to mingle with soldiers and volunteers.
It was a very meaningful day, and I took a lot away from the tour that I did not know before. It was special to bear witness with a Nova survivor. I highly recommend touring with Amit.

Geweldige ervaring! De reis naar Israël was super mooi en bijzonder! Avner was onze gids en heeft in 10 dagen tijd ons het hele land laten zien. Tijdens de reis zorgde Avner ervoor dat we niks miste. A somber experience.... Such a tragedy. A very sad place to visit, but essential to understand what happened here. Unfortunately, it demonstrates the violence human beings are capable of towards others.On the other hand, the memorials of the innocent victims who lost their lives or were injured because of hatred, live on.
Our guide was excellent and I felt safe during the entire tour. Even though I felt overwhelmed at the various sites, I am glad I went.

We do everything we can to avoid negative surprises. We are transparent in our communications with clients, do not hide anything that is in- or excluded on (day) tours and get great motivation out of the 1000+ of travelers that rated our services EXCELLENT.
Our day tour to Jerusalem is ranked as the best experience in Israel, if you are planning to book it please read what it is about first and do not book it just because we are the only one leaving on a decent hour.
This tour is NOT about the Zionist Miracle, as Amy expected, it is also NOT a shopping tour, we do not visit souvenir shops and it is also NOT a religious tour where we wait in line for religious sites.
