visit a few Biblical places in Samaria, the mountain range north of Judea and of Jerusalem, the one that connect the Galilee to Judea.

We will visit Nablus and the two mountains: Mt. Ebal and Mt. Gerizim.

This is an area with plenty to see: the altar that the Israelites built when they first came into the land of Israel, as well as Jacob’s Well, where Jesus met the Samaritan woman (we will look at this event in some depth).

We will use this opportunity to learn something about the Samaritans. From there we will go south to Shiloh where the tabernacle stood for 369 years, and where Samuel lived; and we will end in Bet El (Bethel) where Jacob had the dream of the angels ascending and descending.
