Proceed from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee by looking at the area of Jesus’s ministry from the top of Mt. Arbel while figuring the geography of the Galilee.
End your first online Galilee experience with a visit to the recently excavated village of Magdala where perhaps Jesus ministered in the Synagogue which it’s remains are visible and wonder about the mysterious “Magdala stone” that made this site a must see by any pilgrim to the Holy Land. Reflecting at the Duc in Altum (Luke 5:4)) in Magdala while absorbing the views at the boat altar, the women’s atrium. Finally, the large painting (titled “Encounter”) gives us a snapshot of the encounter of the hemorrhaging woman who tries to touch Jesus for healing (Mark 5: 25-29).
